About Medicaos

MEDICAOS is a mobile application whose main objective is to control the medication of elderly and dependent people in Spain. The application uses the QR code that comes on the medication boxes to count the existing medication.

Main features of MEDICAOS:

1. Management of dependent people:
- Create, edit and delete profiles of dependent people.
- Associate a photo and a nickname to each profile.
2. Medication control:
- Scan QR codes on medicine boxes.
- Register and update the medication inventory for each person.
- Keep a count of existing medication.
- Accessible medication taking PDF with photo
3. User Interface:
- Main screen with list of dependents.
- Detail/edit screen for each person.
- Responsive design to adapt to different devices.
- Support for light and dark themes.
4. Local database:
- Storage of information about people and medications.
- Automatic creation of a default profile on the first installation.
- No personal data is recorded or shared.
5. Integration with CIMA API:
- Obtain detailed information on medications using the API of the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products.

This app appears to be designed to help caregivers and family members maintain accurate medication control for elderly or dependent people, facilitating their care and ensuring they receive the right medications in the right quantities.
