About REPS for Mental Fitness
Getting mentally fit is a lifelong process–hopefully, REPS can help.
REPS stands for Rational thinking, Emotion regulation, and Problem Solving.
It was created to enhance mental fitness and readiness for U.S. service members by teaching concrete skills rooted in psychological research.
This version is tailored to Navy Sailors, but anyone can use it.
By doing your REPS over time, we hope that you grow towards your goals and master the challenges that stress you out–on deployment, at home, anywhere.
REPS was not made to treat any clinical diagnosis–its aim is to improve the tools in your toolkit when it comes to tackling life stress.
With REPS, you’ll get:
• 4 mental health skills rooted in research
• Seeing how stress impacts you in multiple areas
• Enhancing cognitive responses that help you adapt
• Getting control of your emotions in a healthy way
• Tackling problems head-on with a solid gameplan
• Bite-sized lessons for learning fast
• Stories of Sailors learning to address their stress
• Exercises and knowledge checks to test your progress
• Content that works offline–for those times when you’re stuck on a ship, or out in nature
• Design that streamlines learning
• Badges–because everyone loves badges
REPS is funded through the U.S. Defense Health Agency (DHA)–so it is 100% free for you.
