The UCuenca App is the comprehensive platform for the University of Cuenca, which allows access to services easily, safely and from anywhere. The application offers a wide range of functionalities for the entire university community: students, teachers, administrative staff and alumni; In addition, people who are not part of the University of Cuenca can enter as guests and make use of the general services aimed at the general public.
The UCuenca App has an intuitive design aimed at providing the user with a satisfactory experience when consuming our services, allowing easy navigation thanks to its structure and customization options; We aim to simplify the management of processes by bringing our services to you so that you can access them from anywhere and in a simple and efficient way. The application presents several functions depending on the level of access granted by the role held in the UCuenca community.

• Digital identifier - UCuencaID: Each user with a specific role (teacher, employee, worker, alumni) accesses their unique identification document within the UCuenca community (Student Card). This document becomes the student or work card receiving the name of UCuencaID (digital identifier) ​​that includes photograph, full name, ID number, dependency, position, QR code, role and 7-digit code and status (current or not current). ). This identifier facilitates verification of the user's identity and role within the university.

• News: Users will be able to access the news section where relevant events and activities at the University of Cuenca are updated in real time. Promoting that the university community is informed about the latest news.

• Voz UCuenca: Here you will find the institutional multimedia magazine of UCuenca! We invite you to learn about university life with current content: academics, research, networking, culture, analysis, sports and more. We are Voz UCuenca.

• Subject grades: Students can review the grades of the subjects they are taking. In this module you will find the details of: achievements, intercycle exam, final exam and suspension exam in the cases that apply.

• Class schedule: This module allows students and teachers to see their class schedule and the assigned classroom, facilitating the planning and organization of their academic activities.

• Academic progress: Students can view their academic progress, showing the percentage of subjects passed and those they still have to take. This module provides a detailed summary of each subject, including name, grade, level, registration number and status (passed, in progress or failed).

• Institutional sites: The application includes a network of quick access links to the University of Cuenca website and its social and digital networks; facilitating navigation and access to institutional resources.

• Attendance marking: This function allows administrative staff and workers at the University of Cuenca to register their entry and exit using their georeferenced location in real time. The marking polygons are clearly identified on the map displayed in this module.
