Amaru alerts you before water becomes a problem.

It gathers data on rainfall, river flow, and monitoring stations across South America and presents it in an easy-to-read format: a color-coded map with a risk level for each location. No technical jargon, no need to interpret anything.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• View the risk map in real time. A quick glance tells you where there is heavy rain, rising river levels, or areas under alert. You can filter by radar, reports, cities, and rivers.

• Check your location. Tap "My Zone," and Amaru calculates the risk where you are: temperature, accumulated rainfall, humidity, wind, and the hourly forecast.

• Track the areas that matter to you. Your home, your children's school, your property, your storage facility. Save each location with any name you like, and Amaru monitors them for you.

• Receive alerts when it really matters. If one of your areas enters an Alert or Danger zone, you'll receive a notification even if the app is closed. We don't alert you for just anything: only from the alert level upwards, and only at night if the risk is serious.

• Report what you see
If there's a flooded street or an overflowing river, you can report it with a photo and your location. Reports help people nearby.

WHO IS IT FOR?

For those who live in flood-prone areas, farmers and ranchers, truckers, those who organize outdoor activities, and anyone who prefers to be informed beforehand, not afterward.

HOW IT WORKS

amaru combines weather models, monitoring stations, and public hydrological data, and processes them to estimate the risk of heavy rain and flooding at any given location. All calculations take place on our servers; the app doesn't require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number.

PERMISSIONS AND WHY

• Location: only when you tap "My Area" or save a place, to calculate the risk for that location.

• Notifications: To alert you when the risk increases in the areas you monitor.

• Camera: Only if you choose to attach a photo to a report.

We do not request personal data, there is no registration, and we do not track users.

IMPORTANT

Amaru provides automatic and indicative estimates. It does not replace official warnings from your country. In an emergency, always follow the instructions of the authorities and civil protection services.
