Orthoscan3D

The Orthoscan3D application is a professional tool exclusively dedicated to on-site, high-precision photographic capture for creating digital twins and high-density point clouds. Developed specifically to meet the rigorous needs of the construction, industrial, and civil engineering sectors, this solution transforms a field survey into a usable 3D model via a dedicated web interface. The application's operation is optimized for a direct and secure workflow: the user takes a series of photographs around a construction site or technical object, and these photographs are instantly transmitted to our internal servers at DHI to automatically launch the photogrammetric reconstruction process. Unlike consumer tools, Orthoscan3D does not offer local processing on the smartphone; it serves as a high-fidelity capture terminal, ensuring that the transmitted data possesses all the necessary characteristics to generate an accurate, scaled, and georeferable point cloud using control points in the field. Once processing is complete on DHI's infrastructure, professionals can log in to their web interface to view the scanned area, take measurements, and analyze the environment in three dimensions. This application is strictly for professional use and is not intended for private individuals. Therefore, no access is granted by default upon download. Using the tool requires specific login credentials, which are provided only after validation by our team. To obtain your access credentials or for any information regarding the implementation of this solution on your worksites, please visit our official website at orthoscan3d.fr or contact us directly by email at [email protected]. Each access request is subject to a specific review to ensure the tool meets your technical needs in the field. By centralizing computing power on DHI's servers, Orthoscan3D allows field operators to focus on image quality without worrying about the software complexity of 3D reconstruction. This ensures seamless continuity between the reality on the job site and the digital processing of data for work monitoring, structural inspections, and detailed technical documentation. The system guarantees maximum security for professional data, as the entire processing and storage workflow remains confined within DHI's digital ecosystem. Whether for trench surveys, stockpile volume calculations, or inspections of complex structures, Orthoscan3D offers the reliability of an industrial tool in the pocket of every authorized user, drastically simplifying the transmission of visual and metric information from the field to the engineering office. The application is regularly updated to optimize image transfer speed and communication quality with reconstruction servers, ensuring professionals receive their 3D models with optimal responsiveness.
