Markd.ly: Markdown Text Editor

The markdown editor that respects your output.

Markd.ly is a native markdown editor and writing app with live preview, built for people who write in plain .md and ship a real deliverable. Open any folder on your Android phone or tablet, write, and watch the preview render as you type. The same Bravely Account unlocks Markd.ly on Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android, so the document you start on your phone is waiting on your desktop.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Write markdown in a clean text editor with syntax highlighting and a live preview
• Render Mermaid diagrams and LaTeX math inline as you type
• Preview tables, task lists, and fenced code blocks the way they will ship
• Open any folder of .md files. Your documents stay plain text on disk
• No vault, no proprietary format, no plugins to keep alive
• Sign in once and pick up the same documents on every platform you own
• Export to clean HTML and print-ready PDF from the desktop apps, on the same purchase

WHAT MARKD.LY IS FOR
Blog posts. README files. Documentation. Technical writing. Markd.ly is for writing that lives in markdown but leaves the app as something polished, not a note-graph, not a second brain. If you need wikilinks and a graph, use a vault tool. If you need documents that look great when you ship them, this is the editor.

FOLDER-BASED, NO LOCK-IN
Your files are .md on disk. Open any folder and keep working in the same files everywhere else. Git-friendly, no proprietary format, nothing to migrate out of later.

MERMAID AND MATH
Live-render Mermaid flowcharts and diagrams and LaTeX math right in the preview while you draft. What you see is what the export produces.

ONE PURCHASE, EVERY PLATFORM
Markd.ly is a tool, not a service. A single one-time purchase unlocks the complete app on every platform, Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android, carried by your Bravely Account. Buy it once on any platform and the rest unlock automatically. No subscription for the unlock, no per-feature paywalls.

The deeper export pipeline lives on the desktop builds: Pandoc to DOCX, EPUB, LaTeX, and reveal.js slides with your own template, preamble, and bibliography, plus a custom CSS editor, a snippet library, full vim mode, encrypted documents, cross-file search, the markd command-line tool, and an MCP server for AI agents, all on the same one purchase.

Signing in is free. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. The same sign-in works on every Markd.ly app you install. After you sign in, a single one-time purchase unlocks everything; if you already bought Markd.ly on another platform, sign in to restore it here at no extra charge.

Prefer the all-apps bundle? An annual or lifetime Bravely plan adds every premium Bravely utility on every platform, instead of just Markd.ly.
