Vidhi Portal is the official digital platform of the **Law Department, Government of Jharkhand**, designed to facilitate efficient legal administration and improve coordination between government departments, law officers, and advocates. The application serves as a centralized system to manage legal processes, records, and services related to government litigation and legal advisory functions.

The Law Department, located at **Project Building, Dhurva, Ranchi**, plays a vital role in providing legal opinions and advice to various Government Departments of Jharkhand. It also assists in drafting and reviewing **statutory rules, regulations, notifications, bylaws, memorandums of understanding (MoUs), agreements, and legal documents** required by the Government.

Through the Vidhi Portal, the department manages the **panel of advocates** representing the Government of Jharkhand in various courts including the **Supreme Court of India, Jharkhand High Court, District Courts, and Arbitration Tribunals**. The platform helps in appointment and management of advocates from these panels to safeguard the interests of different government departments.

The portal also supports the administrative responsibilities of the department in relation to the **District Courts across the State**. It assists in monitoring and supervision of various **plan and non-plan schemes**, including construction and maintenance of district court buildings and residential quarters for judicial officers under central sponsored schemes.

Vidhi Portal further enables the department to manage the **appointment and records of Notaries** as per the relevant laws and regulations. The system maintains essential records and facilitates administrative processes related to notary services.
