Zungenheld – Tongue Exercises

Zungenheld is an app for guided tongue exercises and oral-motor practice for children. Clear picture steps, an optional camera mirror and playful rewards help families practice regularly at home.

It is for parents and families who want child-friendly instructions. You can do the exercises at home, in short sessions and at your own pace.

Tongue exercises, step by step
The guided exercises cover tongue movements, tongue mobility and tongue resting posture. Each exercise is a sequence of picture steps with a short instruction. A timer shows how much time is left in the round. There are no instruction videos.

Camera mirror
The camera mirror is optional. The front camera shows a live view so a child can watch their own movement. It does not record, does not save images and does not detect movement automatically. It also does not judge whether an exercise was performed correctly.

Playful motivation
Completed exercises earn stars. A progress view and small games can support a regular routine when you want that. The app does not guarantee a training result.

For families
Several child profiles keep stars and practice progress separate, for example for siblings. Parents choose exercise packs or single exercises and can set reminders for practice at home. The interface stays calm and clear.

Alongside speech therapy
Zungenheld can support practice at home, for example when a speech-language professional has recommended the exercises. The app does not replace an examination, a diagnosis or treatment.

Subscription
A monthly plan and a yearly plan are available through Google Play. A trial period is shown only if Google Play offers one for that plan. It is not included for every customer. Without a subscription, ads may appear; an active subscription removes them. The price and terms in the Google Play purchase dialog are the ones that apply.
