About Antiinfektiva-Leitfaden UKSH
The anti-infective recommendations are based on current guidelines. They were each adapted to the campus-specific resistance data and created in coordination with hospital representatives from the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH). The recommendations have therefore been developed explicitly for patients at the UKSH and should not be construed as global recommendations. Prescriptions should never be made purely on the basis of an app consultation, but rather require the critical assessment of a doctor.
The application of the recommendations requires a comprehensive assessment of the findings. In each individual patient case, the applicability must be checked with regard to previous illnesses, organ functions, interactions and other patient factors. We are happy to provide support via ABS or consultation service.
The dosages given apply to adults of normal weight with normal kidney and liver function. Dose adjustments are described in a separate chapter.
Therapy reevaluation: after 48–72 hours, adjustment to targeted therapy after clinical improvement if pathogens are detected, de-escalation from a clinical perspective or discontinuation if the suspected diagnosis is not confirmed
