SaftSSH

SAFTSSH is a modern SSH application designed to establish secure, reliable, and flexible connections to servers. At its core, the app enables traditional SSH sessions, with a strong focus on privacy and control over personal data. Through an intuitive user interface, users can easily manage remote servers, execute commands, and perform administrative tasks.

Beyond basic SSH functionality, SAFTSSH can be used for Mosh (mobile shell) connections and provides comprehensive tools for data transfer. Using SCP, files can be securely transferred between local devices and remote systems, supporting both uploads and downloads. This allows simple up/downloads of work files, backups, or configuration files. For more complex network requirements, port-tunneling options are available, enabling encrypted connections even over insecure networks.

A central feature of the app is the Identity Store, which manages all authentication information such as key pairs and passwords. Users can centrally store multiple identities and quickly access the appropriate credentials without repeatedly entering them. Additionally, the Snippets feature allows recurring commands or scripts to be saved and optionally executed automatically upon connection. This autostart functionality saves time on routine tasks and ensures consistent workflows across different sessions.

For users who want to synchronize their data independently and with full control, SAFTSSH integrates “Bring Your Own Cloud” capabilities. This includes support for WebDAV, allowing cloud services like Nextcloud to be directly connected. Connection, port forwardings and identitys can be conveniently exchanged between diffrent devices. Furthermore, peer-to-peer synchronization enables direct data sharing between devices without an active internet connection.

The app also provides extensive backup options. Files, snippets, or complete identity information can be exported and imported, ensuring a full data backup process. This increases resilience and allows easy migration to new devices or restoration in the event of a system change.

SAFTSSH targets both professional users and technically proficient individuals who value security, flexibility, and efficient workflows. By combining traditional SSH functions, convenient file transfer capabilities, automatable workflows, and versatile synchronization options, it creates a tool that unifies administrative tasks, data management, and workflow automation. The app gives full control over connections, data, and access without relying on external dependencies.

With SAFTSSH, remote servers can be easily managed, data transferred efficiently, and complex network setups securely implemented, all while keeping user information under direct control. The integration of modern cloud and peer-to-peer technologies, combined with automatable snippets and a centralized Identity Store, makes the app a powerful tool for developers, administrators, and anyone regularly working with remote systems.
