Concordia Health Insurance Health App: Submitting Invoices and E-Prescriptions, Health Record

Use the Concordia Health App to quickly submit invoices and e-prescriptions, as a digital health record, and as direct access to telemedical treatments by online doctors from our cooperation partner TeleClinic GmbH.

- Tip: Set the app to only transfer documents for submission when you are connected to Wi-Fi – this saves your data volume.

Online Doctor
Your access to telemedical treatments through online doctors – seven days a week, around the clock.

- Direct access to the services of our cooperation partner TeleClinic GmbH.
- Reimbursement for insured persons according to the AV, BV, or AZ Kompakt tariffs.

eHealth
For our fully insured customers, access to the telematics infrastructure of the German healthcare system and thus to useful services such as e-prescriptions and online check-in at your doctor's office.

Registration:
Registering for the Concordia Health App is incredibly easy. Please download the Health App, tap "Register now," and follow the on-screen instructions. After entering personal data, registered users undergo a one-time identification process.

We recommend the Self-Identification process, which provides you with an activation code by mail. Alternatively, you can also use the Postident process offered by Deutsche Post AG.

Login:
Registration for the Health App takes place using your registered email address and a unique password. Login to your user account is secured with two-factor authentication. We provide the second factor via the email address you registered.

Cloud functionality:
If you store your invoices and data in the cloud, your receipts, invoices, and data will remain available on other devices or if you change devices.

IMPORTANT: Please be sure to back up your cloud key. We have no access to the encrypted data stored in your cloud, nor to the key, and we cannot restore a lost key. If you lose your device and the key, you will no longer be able to access the data in the cloud.

Security and data protection:
In addition to speed, security is an absolute must for Concordia. Your username and password are stored encrypted in the app, so only you have access to your data. Only the invoices or documents you select are transmitted in encrypted form to Concordia Health Insurance for billing using the Concordia Health App. All information you store in your health record is visible only to you – Concordia never has access to it.
