ZenDial

Welcome to the world of ZenDial. This is a minimalist abstract strategy board game inspired by ancient divination dials, yet its rules are filled with modern strategic depth. Two players, commanding gold and silver pieces, engage in a battle of wits on a board formed by concentric rings.

The board consists of five concentric rings, each evenly divided into 12 sectors, creating 60 intersections where pieces can be placed. At the start of the game, a fixed black pivot piece sits at the center.

During each turn, you must perform two actions in order:
First, select an outer ring and rotate it one sector clockwise or counter-clockwise. This operation shifts all your and your opponent's pieces on that ring, altering the distribution of power across the board.
Second, place a new piece on an empty intersection of the ring you just rotated.
