Yaban: Rota, Rakım, Pusula

Yaban is a simple and reliable outdoor tracker designed for hikers, trail runners, and mountaineers. It's completely free, ad-free, and untrackable — all your data stays on your device.

▍ WHY YABAN?
If you're tired of apps full of complex menus, subscriptions, and ads, Yaban is for you. Start recording with a single touch; your route, altitude profile, and statistics are saved in the background. Recording continues even if you lock the screen.

▍ HIGHLIGHTED FEATURES

• GPS Route Recording
Record your route with high-precision GPS. Thanks to the foreground service on Android, recording continues uninterrupted even if the app is minimized or the screen is locked.

• Barometric Altimeter + Kalman Filter
Yaban offers three different altitude sources, switching between barometric, GPS, and fused modes. Thanks to the Kalman filter, altitude readings are stable and close to the true value. Calibrate with a single touch using a known altitude.

• Offline Maps
Dark MapLibre map style based on OpenFreeMap. Select and download your desired area for use when there is no signal — trail, mountain, campsite, all in your pocket.

• Slope Compensated Compass
Switch between true north and magnetic north. See your nearest waypoints on the compass.

• Waypoint Management
Mark points of interest: camp, water source, peak, vehicle. List, name, and start navigation to them. Direction and distance are updated instantly on the map.

• Local History and Statistics
All your sessions are stored in the SQLite database on your device. Sparkline charts, weekly elevation gain, distance, time, average speed, calories. Rename or delete — nothing is shared in the cloud.
