Back in 1976, Edward Stobart sparked a simple idea that became a national obsession, giving his trucks a proper name (made famous with the first truck being named Twiggy) and then letting the public join in the fun by naming the trucks via application.

Half a century later his nephew, also called Edward Stobart, is bringing that spirit back to life within the WS group of companies where Edward is CEO. Trucks with names you can spot, smile at, and feel proud of.

Now you can help write the next chapter of the tradition.

Honour your mum, daughter, wife or partner with her name that will ride on a real truck for up to three years, covering the length and breadth of the country.

How it Works
Choose a name, it must be female and both First and Middle (i.e. Katie Louise). It must be a real name, a meaningful name.
Add your story (optional but recommended). A sentence or two about why that name matters; the kind of thing you'd tell a friend in the pub.
We review you the application and if the name doesn't already exist and a truck is available, your name will be assigned to a truck. We'll confirm the details, apply the name, and let you know when it's out on the road.
The Truck will be on the road from a minimum of 12 months and up to three years.
