Wordsicle gives you twelve letter dice. Connect all twelve into one crossword, words across and down, every tile joined to the rest. Place the last one and the board celebrates.

THE DAILY ROLL
At midnight UTC the same twelve dice go out to everyone. You, your group chat, that friend who always finds the seven-letter word. Solve it your way, compare grids, keep your streak going.

SCORING THAT REWARDS AMBITION
Every letter counts. Long words earn a bonus for each letter past the fourth. Any letter shared by two crossing words pays twice. Finish quickly and you earn a speed bonus. Everyone starts from the same twelve dice, so your score is what you built with them.

TURN UP THE DIFFICULTY
In Hard Mode, every word you score locks its dice in place. You can't slide a word across the board once you've banked it. Plan the whole grid before you commit.

GO AFTER THE BOARDS, NOT JUST THE SCORE
Seventeen badges, and five of them are on the table every Daily Roll. The Monolith for a word of eight letters or more. The Compact for fitting all twelve dice inside a five by five square. The Lattice for a board with four letters shared by two words. Hard Mode for finishing with the locks on. The Blink for a board finished in under thirty seconds. They reward what a score can't see: the shape you built, and how fast you saw it. Seven more are for never missing a day, from The Full Week and The Gauntlet up through The Quarter, The Half-Year Hold and The Orbit at a full year. The last five just count the days, so a gap costs you nothing: The Fifty, The Century, The Alexandria, The Monument, and The Podium for thirty days finishing in the top ten.

MISS A DAY WITHOUT LOSING THE STREAK
Play seven days running and you earn a streak shield. Miss a day after that and your next solve spends it, bridging the gap so the streak carries on.

Every finished puzzle becomes a share card with your crossword, score, solve time, streak, and a Hard Mode badge if you earned one. Daily boards share without their letters, so you can post yours before anyone else has played and let your friends wonder how you did it.
