Given an image or a video stream, an object detection model can identify which of a known set of objects might be present and provide information about their positions within the image .For example, this screenshot of the example application shows how two objects have been recognized and their positions annotated When you pass an image to ML Kit, it detects up to five objects in the image along with the position of each object in the image. When detecting objects in video streams, each object has a unique ID that you can use to track the object from frame to frame. Successful object detection depends on the object's visual complexity. In order to be detected, objects with a small number of visual features might need to take up a larger part of the image. You should provide users with guidance on capturing input that works well with the kind of objects you want to detect .When you use classification, if you want to detect objects that don't fall cleanly into the supported categories, implement special handling for unknown objects YOLOv5 applies the world's most advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) to your Android device camera scene to detect, classify and locate up to 80 classes of common objects in real-time. General:
After the first start you are in object detection mode. Point your camera to objects and the detection starts automatically. In the top left you can tap on the settings icon.The Share Button in the top right allows you to share the photos and informations you detected. When you press the Share Button the capturing is halted. After sharing and returning to the Main Screen simply press the ‘Continue’-Button in the center. Deep Learner lets you see the world through the eye of a robot. Try multiple deep learning algorithms and experience the world in a new way! You can choose between two modern computer vision algorithms, that you can compare. Those include Mobile Net, Inception and Fast-RCNN. Using Deep Learner you can intuitively experience those algorithms! .This app has 2 modes:
- Detection mode: detection of 80 classes from COCO dataset with bounding box.
- Classification mode: identifying of 1000 classes from ImageNet dataset without bounding box.
To start and stop live preview, just touch on the preview screen.
The Deep Learning software library TensorFlow and 2 Mobile Net models are used for detection and classification.
