About Willow Smash: Cricket Shots
Stand behind the batter and face a fictional bowler. The ball arrives in about half a second. Swipe to swing: the direction of your swipe chooses where the ball goes, and the moment you lift your finger decides how well the bat meets the ball. A well-timed swing sends the ball toward the rope. A late or early one gives a single, a dot ball or a chance to be caught.
Each challenge asks for runs, targets or boundaries from a fixed number of balls, and takes about one to three minutes. Swipe long for a lofted shot or short for a ground drive. Fielders stand on every ground: they stop ground shots and catch lofted balls that land near them. Targets include drums, windows, hoardings with no logos and a ring beyond the rope.
There are six grounds of fifteen challenges each, ninety in all. Each ground has its own look, from a lighthouse oval and a monsoon park to a desert ground, a hill station, a night ground and a harbour ground. Bowlers mix pace, swing, spin, yorkers and bouncers, and the challenges grow harder as you go.
Stars: one star for completing a challenge, two stars for completing it with no dismissals, and three stars for that plus at least half of your contacts well timed. Stars never go down. Coins come from stars, and you can buy bats in five tiers: Club, Pro, Elite, Champion and Legend. The bat you use changes how hard you hit the ball.
Challenges unlock in order, and a new ground opens once the last challenge of the one before has a star. You can replay any challenge at any time. A short tutorial on the first challenge teaches your first swing with hand prompts, and a shrinking timing ring shows when to release on the first three challenges.
Stuck? Extra ball is an optional rewarded video that adds one more delivery when a challenge runs out of balls, once per attempt. The Timing ring rewarded offer shows the sweet-spot ring for the next six deliveries. Rewarded offers are always optional and labelled, and nothing else is locked behind them.
The game contains ads and offers in-app purchases. A full-screen ad called Over break can appear only when you leave a challenge result screen. It never appears before your fourth completed challenge, never more than once every two completed challenges, never less than 120 seconds apart, and never during play. Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that removes these full-screen ads; rewarded offers remain. Extra Ball ×10 is a consumable pack that adds ten extra-ball charges.
The game works offline. The internet is used only for ads and for purchases through Google Play. It is for players aged 13 and over.
