LunaCut: Lunar Hair Calendar

LunaCut is a calm, beautiful calendar for planning your hair rituals with the rhythm of the Moon.

Open the app and three questions are answered immediately: is today a good day for your hair goal, when is the next favourable date, and why does tradition suggest it.

WHAT LUNACUT TELLS YOU
• Today's moon phase, illumination, lunar age, and moon sign
• A clear reading — Favourable, Supportive, Neutral, or Better to wait
• Your next favourable date, with a countdown
• A short explanation of the traditional rule behind every reading
• How strongly that tradition is actually held, so you always know what you're looking at

CHOOSE YOUR OWN INTENTION
Pick what matters to you and the whole calendar re-reads itself:
• Encourage length
• Support a fuller appearance
• Maintain a short style
• Strengthen your routine
• Plan colour treatments
• General lunar guidance

A BEAUTIFUL MONTH VIEW
A quiet, editorial calendar with one compact marker per day. Every marker has its own shape as well as its own colour, so it stays readable however you see colour.

PLAN AND REMEMBER
• Create a personalized plan to preserve a haircut or move toward a new length, shape, fringe, or colour
• Follow a practical arc from first appointment to two-week reflection and your next planning window
• Place rituals — haircut, trim, colour, deep conditioning, scalp massage and more — on a date, and LunaCut suggests your next favourable one
• Optional reminders, scheduled entirely on your device
• A private journal for cuts, colour, products, and how it turned out, with the moon phase remembered for you
• Optional length check-ins, before-and-after photos, and a measuring-thread timeline that shows net change without pretending every cut is "growth"
• Share a text-only progress summary without exposing your private notes or photos

WORKS OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT
There is no sign-up. All astronomy is calculated on your device, so the app works with no signal at all. Your journal, notes, and photos never leave your phone.

ENGLISH AND FRENCH

ABOUT THE TRADITION
LunaCut draws on European almanac traditions that associate the phases of the Moon with intentions such as growth, retention, and renewal. Traditions differ, and LunaCut says so — presenting one coherent reading rather than claiming a universal truth.

It is a planning companion and a reflective practice, not health advice. LunaCut does not provide medical advice and makes no claim that lunar timing affects hair growth or scalp health.
