About What's Vegetarian
Know what you can order before you reach the counter. What's Vegetarian puts the vegetarian and vegan items at 272 restaurant chains on your phone, and the lookup works with no signal.
LOOK UP
Type a chain name and get its menu with every item tagged vegetarian, vegan or check (the ones where the answer depends on how you order). Chipotle, Taco Bell, Panera, Starbucks and 268 more, 3,814 menu items checked in all. Tap Vegan to hide everything else. Every guide is saved on your phone after the first sync, so it loads in a basement food court or at a rest stop with one bar.
NEAR ME
A directory of 431 restaurants, each one verified open and hand-rated on a five-tier scale from 100% Vegan to Less Vegetarian-Friendly. The list sorts by distance. Filter by tier, switch to the map, and tap through for hours, phone and a link to the menu. When a restaurant closes, it comes off the list and out of your bookmarks.
One catch. The directory is deepest in a handful of big metros today (New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Philadelphia and Chicago among them), and new profiles land every week. If your town is thin, Look Up still covers the chains around you.
