What A Team

What A Team is the simplest way for small teams to celebrate each other and live their shared values together.

Whether you're a startup, a remote crew, a sports team, or a group of friends working on something meaningful, What A Team helps you build a culture of recognition and team values!

HOW IT WORKS
1. Create a team: pick a name, an emoji, and invite your teammates with a simple code.
2. Choose your values: together, decide what your team stands for. Communication, Collaboration, Innovation, Empathy, Growth — pick the ones that matter to you.
3. Send High Fives: when a teammate does something that lives your values, send them a High Five with a short message. They'll get a moment of recognition.
4. See your team's Pulse: at any time, check which values your team celebrates most, who's spreading positivity, and how your season is going.

WHY WHAT A TEAM
• Free, forever — no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads.
• Built for small teams — perfect for groups of 2 to 20 people.
• Privacy-first — we collect only what we need to make the app work. No tracking, no data selling.
• Mobile-first — designed for the way real teams work, not chained to a desk.
• Warm, not competitive — we celebrate everyone's contributions, not rank them. The Team Pulse shows the whole team, not a leaderboard.
• Forming, storming, performing — built around the idea that great teams co-create their values together. The act of defining them is itself a team-building moment.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Create or join a team with a 6-character invite code
• Define 3 to 7 core team values, with custom emojis and colors
• Set a "season" — the period over which your team celebrates each other
• Give and receive High Fives tied to specific values
• See a real-time activity feed of all the recognition happening in your team
• View your personal profile with all the High Fives you've received and given
• Check the Team Pulse for celebrated values, recognition champions, and season progress
• Edit your team, values, season, and members (team creator)
