Word Ladder is a word puzzle with one rule: change a single letter at a time, and
every step has to be a real word.

COLD becomes CORD. CORD becomes CARD. CARD becomes WARD. Four letters, three

Classic — an endless supply of ladders. Find the shortest path, or just find a
path.
Daily — one puzzle a day, the same one for everybody. Come back tomorrow for the
next.
Zen — no timer, no score, no par. Just the words.
Timed — sixty seconds. Go.


TWO WAYS TO PLAY TOGETHER

Race — two to six players, the same ladder, one clock. Whoever gets home first
takes the points.
Duel — you and one opponent take turns on a single shared ladder. Win by reaching
the target word, or by steering the ladder somewhere they can never reach it
from.

Share a five-letter code and anyone can join from their own phone. No account, no
sign-up, no friend list, no waiting in a queue.


BUILT TO BE PLAYED ANYWHERE

Every puzzle, every word and every definition ships inside the app. Playing alone
never touches the network at all — no loading screens, no "you appear to be
offline". A connection is used for two things only: playing with other people,
and checking for updates.
