• News and important information from the waste disposal company directly via the push functionality of your smartphone.
• Where does what go where? Waste ABC answers these and other questions for you.
• The contact list provides information about all positions in waste management with telephone numbers and email addresses.
• Online forms help with the quick processing of some applications, e.g. bulky waste registration.
• With offline mode, all information is always on your cell phone, even without an internet connection.

Notes on permissions

Please note that the app may require access to device functions.
Of course, no personal data from you will be collected, transferred or otherwise used.

Calendar:
The app allows you to save collection appointment reminders directly to your device calendar. The “Calendar” permission is required for this.

Location:
On some pages, the app can sort search results according to the distance to your location, making your search much easier. Of course, permission will be asked again before using the device location and your location will not be transmitted to us.

Phone/Device ID/Call Information:
To remind you of appointments even more conveniently, some providers support push notifications. This requires the phone identity of your device. However, this number is only saved if you activate push notification in the app. We also only use this to remind you via push. Access to call information prevents you from receiving annoying notifications during a call. This information will not be misused.

Storage/Photos/Media/Files/Camera:
Some waste app providers support the reporting of garbage deposits. For this purpose, a photo can be taken or uploaded in addition to the textual description. You can then send this photo to the responsible waste disposal company. Photos will only be taken and transferred if you explicitly request this.

Network access:
The app is downloaded directly from the Internet when the user interface is updated or bug fixes are made. This requires network access. However, in order to reduce data consumption, the app is saved after loading so that all data is also available offline.


We hereby guarantee you again that we will not collect or use any of your data except for the purposes described above. The app may request the permissions mentioned even though they are not being used at the moment. In this case, your waste disposal company has not yet activated the intended functionality and the corresponding data will not be requested.
