HOW WALDO WORKS

Waldo lets you manage your photos easily, and deliver photos directly to the people you photograph.

It’s super easy. As the photographer, all you have to do is upload photos to Waldo and invite people you photograph to view their photos. When those you photograph receive an invite, they download Waldo, submit a selfie, and Waldo’s secure facial recognition matches them to the photos you snapped — matched photos are then delivered immediately to their phones, and you don’t have to lift a finger!

PHOTO DELIVERY VIA FACIAL RECOGNITION

The #1 reason people love Waldo is because Waldo can deliver photos in near real-time, directly to the phones of the people that would cherish them. With Waldo’s secure, proprietary facial and numbered jersey recognition, Waldo can find photos within milliseconds and immediately sends these photos via the app or mobile text. Instead of answering phone calls and sifting through albums to find photos like needles in a haystack, nobody has to lift a finger — Waldo does all the work!

SECURE SHARING

We get it, facial recognition sounds like a privacy concern. We take it very seriously — and that’s why we’re amazing at it. Facial recognition photo-finding is fully optional for every user, and every gallery and album in Waldo comes with tailored security permissions, such as ‘No Post to Social’ permissions, ‘Do Not Publish’ permissions, and more. Waldo’s photo-finding powers are only activated with secure two-factor authentication, ensuring that the privacy of our users will always be protected.

CLOUD STORAGE

With Waldo, you can enjoy cloud storage space with real-time syncing for your photos. Upload every photo you snap in glorious high-resolution — the way it’s meant to be — and manage them easily with galleries and albums. Every photo is stored in the cloud, meaning you can access them anywhere, and more importantly, upload photos from anywhere — you can even upload photos wirelessly from your DSLR in real-time to your Waldo album!

CROWDSOURCE FROM CONTRIBUTORS

As easily as you can invite people you photographed, you can also invite people to contribute photos to your galleries and albums. Imagine you’re at an event like a wedding or sports game — you can invite people that attended the same event to contribute their photos, and Waldo will deliver those photos as well.

TURN YOUR PHOTOS INTO PERSONALIZED POSTCARDS

We call them Waldograms — beautiful, personalized postcards that you can create and send within a few simple taps! Pick a photo, personalize your message AND stamp (super fun), write an address, and you’re good to go — Waldo handles everything else from printing to mailing. Every Waldo is printed on ultra high quality 5x7, 120# UV-coated gloss covers and enjoys USPS first class delivery, with postage on the house.
