⭐ UNIQUE TWO-STEP UNLOCK SYSTEM

HideM uses a precise time-based unlock flow to prevent unauthorized access:

1. Tap “Unlock Now”
This activates secure access mode when opening the app.

2. Long-Press Before Progress Reaches 100%
• A progress bar fills from 0% → 100%.
• You must long-press the used storage bar before it reaches 100%.
• If it reaches 100%, the long-press will not unlock the vault.
• Releasing too early resets the process.
• The unlock flow must be restarted if interrupted.

Automatic Locking
HideM locks instantly if:
• Progress reaches 100%
• The screen turns off
• You switch apps
• The long-press is not completed in time

This ensures the vault is protected at all times.

Data Cannot Be Cleared Outside the App
Your vault content cannot be deleted using system storage settings. All removal must be done inside HideM to prevent accidental data loss.

Local-Only Storage
HideM keeps your content on your device only. No cloud upload or external access.

Auto-Close Protection
If the app is backgrounded or the screen turns off, the vault closes immediately.

🔄 PASSWORD RESET (SECURE OFFLINE RECOVERY)
HideM includes a safe, offline reset mechanism for users who forget their PIN or Pattern.

• The reset process is performed directly on your device.
• No information is sent to any server.
• You must complete the built-in recovery step shown inside the app.
• Reset works only if you previously set up your recovery option.
• If no recovery setup exists, resetting your PIN or Pattern may not be possible.

This ensures recovery is available only to the correct device owner while keeping your private content protected.
