DownClean

DownClean is a simple Downloads cleaner for Android.

See what is in your Downloads folder grouped by type: Images, Videos, Audio, Documents, Archives, Apps, and Other. Tap a type to view its files. Delete that type only, or delete everything in Downloads at once.

Nothing is removed until you tap Delete on the confirmation dialog. Cancel does nothing. The app never deletes on launch and never deletes in the background.

DownClean only removes files inside the public Downloads folder. It does not delete the Downloads folder itself, and it does not delete files in other locations such as Photos, WhatsApp, or DCIM.

On Android 11 and later, the system blocks apps from selecting the Downloads folder in the file picker. DownClean therefore asks for All files access. You grant that permission in system Settings. The app still only lists and deletes files inside Downloads.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Files that are open in another app may fail to delete.
