Ash and Armor

The hill you're standing on won't be there for long.
Ash and Armor is a turn-based artillery game about two things: blowing up enemy tanks, and blowing up everything around them. Line up your angle, read the wind, pick your power, and send a shell arcing across the battlefield. Miss, and you tear a smoking crater into the landscape. Hit, and you watch an enemy tank come apart.

Every shot reshapes the ground. Terrain is fully destructible — flatten the hill an enemy is hiding behind, dig a pit to drop them into, or carelessly blast the floor out from under yourself. The battlefield you start a round on is never the one you finish it on.

Start with a basic shell and earn your way to a toybox of destruction:

• Cluster Bomb - splits into a rain of bomblets at the top of its arc

• Napalm - paints the ground in fire that keeps burning for turns

• Drill Bomb - burrows underground before it detonates, hollowing out the terrain

• Mega Nuke - a screen-shaking, crater-leaving last word

Fight across rolling Dirt Hills, the open Desert Mesa, treacherous Snowy Peaks, and the smoldering Volcanic wastes. Each map has its own terrain to tear apart and its own atmosphere to fight through.

Work through a handcrafted campaign that ramps from "learning to aim" to "three enemy tanks, a meteor shower, and a crosswind that won't hold still." Clear maps to earn new tanks and unlock heavier weapons. Progress saves after every round, so you can fight in short bursts and pick up where you left off.

Beat a map and unlock Survival mode: an infinite escalation against everything the game can throw at you. No round cap, no safety net — just how long you can last and the personal best you're chasing.
