Welcome to the 4th Edition of the VIN Foundation Small Animal Veterinary Nerdbook®

Since 1994, the Small Animal Veterinary Nerdbook has proven to be a helpful quick reference for veterinary students, veterinarians, and veterinary technicians at every stage of their careers. Originally created by Dr. Sophia Yin, DVM, MS, it provides essential clinical information into a format built for fast answers.

The 4th edition includes updated and expanded text building on Dr. Yin's remarkable work. Alongside current diagnostic methods and treatment options throughout, it adds five new chapters:

• Communication & Wellness
• Diagnostic Imaging
• Palliative Care & Euthanasia
• Primary Care

Now the Nerdbook goes wherever you go. In collaboration with the VIN Foundation, Nerdbook is available both online and through a mobile app — ready in class, rounds, or the exam room. While no quick reference can cover every aspect of practice, procedure, or disease, this edition gives you what you need to head in the right direction.
