Badshah took his school education from Bal Bharti Public School, Delhi. He has graduated from Civil Engineering from the University of Technology, Chandigarh. His birth name is Aditya Pritam Singh Sisodia. In 2006, he began his singing career along with Yo Yo Honey Singh in 2006. He has sung mainly in Hindi, Punjabi and Haryanavi languages. Since his childhood, he wished to go in Civil Services, despite he never dreamed to become a rapper/singer. Before joining the music world, the emperor also worked as a civil engineer.
In 2014, he sang his first Bollywood song Saturday Saturday" along with Indeep Bakshi and Akriti Kakkar. In the same following year, he sang the songs Selfie Le Le Re for Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai for Khoobsurat. He appeared in the music video of DJ Wale Babu. This musical video gained the millions of views on Youtube (crossed over 100 million views ) and even became no-1 on the i-tunes chart. His some of the popular songs he sang for some hit films of the Bollywood such as Bad Baby, Aaj Raat Ka Scene, The Humma song, Kar Gayi Chull, Let’s Nacho, Baby-Ko Bass Pasand Hai, Kala Chashma, Tamma Tamma Again, Tareefan.He worked with Bollywood leading singers of current time such as Akriti Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, Aastha Gill, Shraddha Pandit, Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya, Benny Dayal, Arijit Singh, and Diljit Dosanjh.
He appeared in a music video and his millions of views videos such as Proper Patola, Bandook, Wakhra Swag, Saturday Saturday (Khul Jaaye Masti), RayZR Mera Swag, Pop the Bottle and Heartless. His collaboration with Hiney Singh was over in 2012. In 2016, he again collaborated with Navv Inder for the video Wakhra-Swag. This musical video won the Punjabi Music Awards-2016 under the category of most-popular-song of the year.
