Low Lands is a real-time strategy game in which the player assumes the role of a viking leader, who must lead his clan with the goal of disputing the territory to rival clans. The game, inspired by the old game Populous, takes place in a remote region in which most of the areas fall below sea level. Therefore one of the main tasks is to create land to be able to settle on it. Played from an top down perspective, the game consists of 31 levels, with each level being a piece of land which contains the player's followers and the enemy's followers. The player is tasked with defeating the enemy followers and increasing their own followers' population creating land and using a series of powers before moving on to the next level.
