About Tutor TDS

The TDS Tutor is the official application of the Territory of Social Development and Productive Inclusion Program, established through an institutional partnership between the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), the Institute for Research, Extension and Regional Development (IPEX), and the Foundation for Scientific and Technological Support of Tocantins (FAPTO).

The tool performs the didactic transposition of the program's 9 educational booklets, converting them into interactive learning paths. The platform's technological core is governed by an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tutor, whose training was exclusively limited to the official textual corpus of the booklets, ensuring reliability and conceptual accuracy.

Pedagogical Architecture and Functioning
The application's methodology was designed to optimize knowledge assimilation through the following functionalities:

Dialogic Learning: The user selects a thematic axis and interacts with the content in a conversational format, employing accessible language that simulates the exchange of everyday knowledge.

Cognitive Reinforcement: Solving interactive questionnaires designed to consolidate the concepts covered.

Contextualized Deepening: Direct interaction with the AI ​​Tutor to clarify doubts and request examples applicable to the user's experience.

"My Reality" Module: Personalization algorithm that provides technical guidelines adapted to the socio-productive context of the municipality and the individual's economic activity.

Technical Glossary: ​​Collection for quick reference containing more than 130 entries extracted from the teaching material.

Certification: Issuance of a digital Certificate of Completion upon completion of the learning paths.

The interface was designed with a focus on accessibility and digital inclusion, operating under the following parameters:

Audio Accessibility: AI tutor equipped with speech synthesis, allowing interaction via audio commands and listening to responses.

Offline Operation: Full content availability without the need for an internet connection, required only on the first access.

Inclusive Design: Optimized interface for intuitive navigation and simplified language.

Technical Support: Direct communication channel with the TDS project operational team via integrated chat or WhatsApp.

Social Impact and Implementation
The project is entirely funded with public resources, being made available free of charge and without commercial advertising. The priority target audience includes family farmers, small entrepreneurs, and communities located in the 36 municipalities served by the program in the state of Tocantins.
