CSSP (Connected Simple Smartphone) helps seniors who find smartphones difficult and guardians who are comfortable with them use the phone together.
Instead of complex app screens, phone, messages, photos/videos, schedules, and Video Assistant are available through large buttons on a home-screen widget.
Large text and simple controls make daily communication and peace-of-mind connection easier. Guardians set content and schedules on the web/service; users rely on the widget for core features.

【Key features】

■ Large-button home widget
Add the widget after install to run frequent actions with large buttons. Themes cover phone, messages, photos/videos, weather, bus, notices, and more. Sound, vibrate, volume, brightness, and settings stay at the bottom when the theme changes.

■ Phone & messaging
Contacts show with large photos and names; one tap opens the dialer. During a call, the widget shows status and you can end the call by tapping the widget.

■ Guardian Video Assistant (video call)
When a guardian requests a video call, an announcement plays and Accept/Decline appear on the widget. Camera and microphone are used only after Accept. Decline means no connection. Video is never sent without acceptance. While waiting, the status bar shows “Waiting for video call response.”

■ SMS re-alert Notification
Automatically re-displays critical text messages matching guardian-set whitelist criteria on a dedicated widget screen to help users notice important SMS alerts.

■ Messages, photos & videos
SMS messages appear in large text and can be read aloud. Photos/videos registered in the service play on the widget without browsing the full device gallery. During Video Assistant, photos from the guardian appear with a guide message.

■ Schedule announcements
Schedules show a popup and are read aloud. While announcing, the status bar shows “Announcing schedule,” then ends automatically. Manage schedules in Settings.

■ Sound, vibrate, volume & brightness
Switch sound/vibrate and adjust phone, ringtone, media volume, and brightness with large buttons.

【How to get started】
1) Install the app and add the CSSP widget.
2) Sign in (guardian guidance or account details may be required).
3) Choose a theme such as phone, messages, or media.
4) Allow guided permissions (notifications, phone state, etc.).
5) Camera/microphone are requested when you accept Video Assistant. Decline if unused; only video calling is then limited.

· Notifications: schedules, urgent alerts, video call requests
· Phone state / end call: in-call widget status; end calls from the widget
· Camera / microphone: only for guardian video calls the user accepts
· Notification policy / system settings: sound/vibrate and brightness
· Internet: sign-in, content/schedule delivery, video calls

Check schedules, call family, and view photos from the guardian on the widget. Video Assistant runs only after the senior accepts; decline and end are always available. Messages, schedules, and Video Assistant requests are also spoken aloud helping seniors keep track of important news.
