About LoneStar Casino
LoneStar Casino is a fast-paced reaction game where circular targets appear and move across the play area. The player taps the screen to hit the intended target at just the right moment. Targets are generated at regular intervals and enter from one side of the screen, traveling toward the opposite side, usually passing near the center of the field. The objective is to score points, maintain a hit streak (combo), and advance through higher levels without losing all your lives.
The controls are simple and intuitive. During an active session, a tap on the play area checks whether a target is within a defined hit radius around the touch point. This hit zone is calculated based on the distance to the center of the target, with a slightly expanded radius to ensure responsive interaction. If a tap does not match any active target, the game registers it as a “miss” and, if the combo was greater than zero, the combo resets to zero and the interface updates to reflect the change.
Targets come in several types that influence scoring and gameplay behavior. Normal targets award base points, fast targets grant more points and move with a speed multiplier, while bonus targets provide higher rewards and move more slowly. There is also a “danger” target: it does not award points and, if tapped, immediately removes one life. This introduces a clear risk element—players must choose carefully and avoid hitting the wrong target.
The scoring system includes a combo multiplier. Each successful hit increases the combo by 1, and the points earned are calculated using a multiplier that grows depending on the combo (for example, after every 10 consecutive hits, the multiplier increases incrementally). After hitting a target, the game displays a small floating score near its position and animates the target with a brief scale-up, fade-out, and rotation effect before removing it from the field. This provides clear visual feedback for each successful action.
Players begin with 3 lives, shown as icons in the interface. A life is mainly lost when hitting a “danger” target. After losing a life, the combo resets to zero and the life indicators animate briefly to highlight the change. When lives reach zero, the game ends immediately and a “game over” overlay appears with the final score. The best score is stored locally on the device and updates only when a new score surpasses the previous record.
Levels are based on total score and follow progressive thresholds. To move to the next level, players must reach a score that increases with each level. The interface includes a level indicator and a progress bar that animates to show how many points have been collected in the current level compared to the points required for the next one. When a new level is reached, a “LEVEL” card appears with animation and the level display updates on screen.
Difficulty increases gradually as levels progress. As the level rises, the interval between target spawns decreases (down to a defined minimum), while movement speed increases (up to a defined maximum). This makes the field more dynamic and requires quicker reactions. Additionally, every few levels (every 3 levels), the game may restore one life if the player is not already at the maximum of 3, accompanied by a short life animation.
LoneStar Casino stores the high score locally and focuses on clear rules for tapping, target movement, and level progression. The core gameplay remains consistent throughout: hit the correct targets, avoid dangerous ones, maintain your combo to multiply points, and manage your lives as the pace steadily intensifies.
