BatchName: File Renamer

BatchName renames a whole folder of files in one go and shows exactly what every file will be called before anything changes.

• Pick a folder or individual files, then watch the preview update as you edit the rules
• Find and replace text, set a custom name, add a prefix or suffix, and change letter case
• Add today's date or each file's modified date in the format you choose
• Number files in sequence by name or by date, with your own start value and digit count
• Spot problems before renaming: invalid characters, overly long names, duplicates and names already in the folder
• File extensions never change, and nothing is ever overwritten
• Undo the last batch to put every file back to its original name
