About TimeSight
TimeSight — Visualise Your Minutes
TimeSight is a calm, visual timer designed to help you keep track of minutes and transition between tasks without the pressure of clock-watching. Instead of needing to process numbers ticking down, you’ll see a gentle, glowing flow of colour. It's a way to stay present, balanced, and focused. It can be so descreet it simply looks like a screensaver so no-one else knows it is running.
Why TimeSight?
Traditional timers can feel clinical, harsh, or distracting. They remind you of every second slipping away. TimeSight was designed to be the opposite: soothing, ambient, and non-intrusive.
The idea began with a simple need. As a therapist, I wanted a way to know where I was in a session without my clients noticing a countdown clock. At the same time, my daughter was studying for her A-levels. She needed help staying focused and managing her energy — avoiding both the trap of overworking and the distraction of underworking. TimeSight became a tool that worked beautifully for both of us.
Now, it’s here for anyone who wants a calmer way to see time flow.
Who It Helps
🌱 Students — Manage revision and study sessions without the stress of watching the clock.
🌱 Therapists & Coaches — Keep track of session flow discreetly, without clients feeling “timed.”
🌱 Teachers — Guide classroom activities and transitions smoothly, with a calm visual cue.
🌱 Musicians & Performers — Practise or rehearse without breaking concentration to check a watch.
🌱 Anyone with ADHD or time blindness — Support focus and transitions in a non-judgemental way.
Features
✨ Discreet visual design — looks like a simple glowing screen, not a timer.
✨ Traffic-light colour system — green, amber, red to gently mark the flow of time.
✨ Two calming themes — Glow or Gentle, both with soft, balanced colours.
✨ Adjustable brightness — match the display to your environment.
✨ Swipe gestures — simple, intuitive controls: swipe left for menu, swipe right to exit.
✨ Session controls — Play, Pause, Reset at the bottom of the screen.
✨ Do Not Disturb integration (Android) — minimise interruptions during your focus time.
✨ Always-on display — stays visible for the whole session.
Why It Works
Instead of measuring every second, TimeSight helps you feel time passing. The glowing bar moves quietly from green to amber to red, giving you awareness without anxiety. It reduces the stress of clock-watching and makes it easier to stay calm, focused, and present.
It’s not just about managing minutes — it’s about changing your relationship with time.
Perfect for…
Study sessions and revision blocks
Therapy, coaching, or counselling appointments
Classrooms and group activities
Music practice and rehearsals
Yoga, meditation, or mindfulness sessions
Managing breaks at work or home
Supporting ADHD and executive function

Great visual timer app. I like the way it shows time is passing without the need for clock watching. Really customisable and just looks like a pretty screensaver so it's really effective at keeping me to time without distracting me or other people. Perfect for time blindness and ADHD.
Brilliant tool. I've used it for doing chores around the house and for setting workout times.
