Closed seasons, minimum size limits, and permitted gear differ by species under Korea's Fisheries Resources Management Act — and the rules are only published as government PDFs. This app shows you the rule and its legal basis the moment you pick a species.

• 🎣 Can I Catch? — search a species to see closed-season status, size limit, and the governing article
• 🪝 Gear check — non-commercial fishers may only use legally listed gear. Flag prohibited equipment (e.g. scuba gear) before you go
• 🌊 Tide table — high/low tide times from the Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency (KHOA), to avoid getting cut off by an incoming tide
• 🦀 Species guide — tell apart look-alike species with different rules (e.g. gazami crab vs. blue swimming crab)
