The Tripura School Sports Board is a government-constituted body responsible for organizing and promoting games and sports across the state of Tripura. As per its organizational structure, the State Level School Sports Board serves as the apex body, chaired by the Hon'ble Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Tripura. The Board operates through its branches at the district and block levels, all of which function under the directives of the state-level body.

To foster enthusiasm for sports among school students and encourage participation, the Board undertakes various initiatives, including organizing competitions from the block level to the state level in a range of games and sports disciplines. These efforts aim to nurture young talent and promote a vibrant sports culture in schools.

Additionally, the Tripura School Sports Board is an affiliated unit of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI). Each year, the Board selects and sends national school teams from Tripura to participate in competitions organized by the SGFI, thereby providing students with a platform to showcase their talents at the national level.

The TSSB Live app, developed by Tech Prarambh under the guidance of the Tripura School Sports Board, is a robust platform designed to help the organization. This app simplifies the Board’s efforts by effectively tracking player details ensuring accuracy and transparency in record-keeping. It plays a pivotal role in streamlining the organization and management of sports activities in schools across Tripura, aligning with the Board’s mission to foster a strong sports culture and nurture emerging talent.
