Tandem Chat App

Tandem is one app with two sides: Personal for your friends, family and communities, and Business for your team. Flip between them with a single tap. Each side keeps its own spaces, conversations and notifications, so work stays at work and game night stays fun.

PERSONAL — WHERE YOUR CREW HANGS
• Spaces for friends, family, gaming groups and communities
• Text rooms, voice rooms, direct messages and group DMs
• Calls that feel like calls: ring your friends, picture-in-picture video, decline with a message
• Share photos and files, react with emoji and @mention anyone
• Back the communities you love with Backer Credits — what a space unlocks, it unlocks for everyone

BUSINESS — A DESK FOR YOUR TEAM
• Business desks with custom roles, permissions and private rooms
• Huddles, voice and video meetings right inside your rooms
• Connect rooms: invite outside partners by email into just one room, and nothing else

ON BOTH SIDES
• Full-text search across every space and DM
• Calendar and events — share your calendar so the people you choose can see your events
• Set your availability: Online, Away, Busy or Invisible
• Notification sounds and quiet hours
• Mute, block and report tools to keep conversations safe

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your Personal and Business sides are stored separately and never see each other. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your messages for advertising.

TANDEM+ (OPTIONAL SUBSCRIPTION)
Tandem is free to start. Tandem+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription for your personal account that raises your limits — bigger file uploads, more spaces and larger group DMs — and includes Backer Credits and a profile badge.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
