Talkie Spam Blocker

Talkie Spam Blocker keeps unwanted calls off your phone without ever blocking the people you know.

WHAT IT DOES
• Blocks, silences or rejects calls from area codes you choose
• Uses public U.S. complaint data from the FTC and FCC to catch known repeat spammers, and refreshes it automatically
• Catches fake numbers: impossible area codes, unassigned prefixes, and "neighbor spoofing" (calls that copy your own number)
• Optional rules: hidden numbers, international calls, unverified caller ID, quiet-hours schedules, and "ring only if they call back"
• Snooze it for an hour when you are expecting a call
• A call log shows every call and the exact reason it was blocked or allowed, with one-tap Mark spam / Unblock / Allow 24h
• A caller-ID card shows who is calling when a call rings

SAVED CONTACTS ARE NEVER BLOCKED. If the app cannot check your contacts for any reason, it lets the call through.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything runs on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your contacts and call history are never uploaded.

SETUP (one time, about a minute)
1. Open the app and tap Grant to allow contacts access.
2. Tap Set as call-screening app and accept the Android prompt.
3. Leave the switch on. The small shield icon in the status bar means screening is running.

IMPORTANT — KEEP IT RUNNING
Some phones put apps to sleep to save battery, which can stop call screening. If calls get through:
• Samsung: Settings > Battery > Background usage limits > Never sleeping apps > add Talkie Spam Blocker.
• All phones: Settings > Apps > Talkie Spam Blocker > Battery > Unrestricted.
• Honor / Huawei / Xiaomi / Oppo: also open the app's launch or auto-start setting and allow it to run in the background, then lock the app in the recent-apps screen.
