In order to optimize throughput times and identify bottleneck situations as quickly as possible, the component reconditioning process is to be digitally optimized. In Paledo, a module is created with which any linear process chains for reconditioning parts can be designed. Each process chain consists of a number of processing steps with upstream buffer, parallel processing capacities and standard processing times. In addition, disposition points are defined at which material must be requested automatically.
The passage of components is documented via smartphones. The employee selects the processing station and scans the part. This changes the part to the corresponding machining step. The current processing progress per part, the utilization of the process stations and impending bottleneck situations can be clearly visualized using the component tracking cockpit. By documenting all processing steps, statistical analyzes for continuous process optimization are possible afterwards.
