앙부일구 - 해시계 (Sundial Simulator)

The Angbuilgu is a scientific heritage created during the reign of King Sejong the Great of the Joseon Dynasty, a sundial shaped like a concave cauldron. This app recreates the principles of the Angbuilgu through real-time simulation, allowing anyone to easily and enjoyably experience the timekeeping methods of the Joseon era.

◆ Key Features

- Real-time Shadow Simulation:

The sundial's shadow moves in real-time based on the current time and location. You can observe the shadow of the gnomon (needle) falling onto the time plate, just like on a real Angbuilgu.

- Joseon Dynasty Time System:

Traditional timekeeping systems, such as the Twelve Earthly Branches (Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, etc.) and the Cho and Jeong cycles, are displayed alongside the sundial, allowing you to compare modern time with that of the Joseon Dynasty.

- Intuitive 3D Interface:

The concave shape of the Angbuilgu is rendered in three dimensions, enabling you to observe the sundial from various angles. ◆ Recommended for:
