About Family Agreements

Family Agreements helps a family agree on everyday home routines and see what everyone contributes. Instead of asking ten times and arguing about who did what, everybody sees the same picture: what needs doing, what is already done, and which rewards were agreed on in advance.

HOW IT WORKS

1. An adult adds a task — one tap from the starter catalogue, or in their own words.
2. The child opens the app and sees what is available today.
3. Done — sent for review.
4. The adult approves in one tap, or asks them to finish up.
5. Points are added, and the child picks a reward the family agreed on earlier.

FOR ADULTS

• Ready-made wording for everyday home routines — the first task takes one tap
• One-tap approval, including several tasks at once
• Rewards you define yourself: screen time, a treat, a trip to the movies, a shared family plan
• A calm shared timeline: who did what, and when
• Dark theme, large-font support, notifications only for what matters

FOR KIDS

• A clear list: what is open, what is in progress, what is awaiting review
• Points and progress, with no comparison to other children
• Rewards visible up front, together with how much is left to save
• Sign-in with a QR code from a parent — no password, no contacts required

WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO

There are no penalties, no negative balance and no expiring points, and that is deliberate. The app is here to encourage taking part, not to punish anyone for staying out. Points record an agreement — they are not money and not a grade for your child.

FAMILY PRO

The free version stays complete. Family Pro adds what larger families need: several adults in one space with roles — who decides, who helps out, and who simply stays in the loop — advanced task schedules, and the full event history.

Family Agreements supports the conversation in a family. It does not replace it.

What’s new

Version 1.1.0.153 · Updated September 20, 2026

What’s new: • The first screen now has a door for kids: a big “I’m a child!” card instead of a link tucked under the parent buttons • Joining by code: a helper walks the child through it — what to tap if the camera stays off, how to tell the family their name, why notifications help • Kids’ screens say “a grown-up” where they used to say “Mom or Dad”: families are put together in different ways We read every review: tell us what is missing.
