Everywhen — Where & When

Four places a day. Two questions each: where on Earth is this, and when did it happen?

You get a photograph and a clue. Drop a pin on the map, choose a moment in time, and see how close you were — then read the short story behind the place.

Why places stick

The method of loci — the "memory palace" — works because human memory is exceptional at attaching facts to locations. Everywhen is built on that. Every story is anchored to the spot on Earth where it actually happened, so what you learn has somewhere to live.

What's inside

• A daily round — four places, 1,000 points
• 378 places across seven realms: the past, science and invention, arts and culture, belief and myth, earth and sky, the living world, mind and society
• A Passport that fills in as you go, every place you've collected pinned to a world map
• A Library of everything the daily has been to, so you can see what you're still missing
• A streak, and a shelf of past days — miss one and you can go back and play it
• Explore, for wandering the whole map and reading whatever you land on

It's free, all of it, and there's a new round every morning.
