Forty-Fives (45s) — A classic trick-taking card game, popular in the Merrimack Valley area of New England. Bid, set trump suit, win tricks, and race to 120 points — solo, with friends in the same room, or online.

Ways to play

• Cut-throat (3 players) — every player for themselves. Play solo against bots on one device, or pass the phone between friends. First to 120 wins on a hand where you made the bid.

• Team play (4 players) — Blue vs Red partners. Team trick points add up; first team to 120 wins on a hand where your team won the bid.

• Local multiplayer (Wi‑Fi) — host a table on one device; others join on the same Wi‑Fi network. Choose cut-throat or team play and set house rules for that table.

• Online multiplayer (subscription required) — play over the internet with an invite code. Create or join a table, see who’s ready, and play in real time. Sign in with and create an account to host or join online games, add friends, and track your record on leaderboards (cut-throat and team; daily, weekly, monthly, and all-time).
