About Storyboard Rush

Storyboard Rush is a cinematic puzzle game built around the art of visual storytelling. Players step into the role of a director-in-training, arranging illustrated storyboard panels into the correct narrative sequence before the clock runs out.


Unlike typical match or tile games, Storyboard Rush challenges your understanding of story structure. Each project presents a unique short film concept with shuffled scene cards. Read the captions, study the visuals, and place every panel in the order that creates a coherent story arc from opening beat to final frame.


The core Rush mechanic adds urgency to creative decision-making. A ticking timer pushes you to think fast while a numbered timeline keeps the editing desk clear and intuitive. When your sequence is correct, the Director's Preview plays your cut panel by panel, showing how order alone transforms disconnected images into a flowing narrative.


Five film projects span science fiction, noir thriller, fantasy epic, robot odyssey, and high-seas adventure. Each unlocks as you earn score from completed cuts, with up to three stars awarded for speed and precision. Hints, reset tools, and optional Rush Timer settings let players tune the challenge to their pace.


Film School mode teaches real storyboard principles — pacing, visual language, and narrative rhythm — connecting gameplay to the craft of cinema. Progress, scores, and project completion persist across sessions.


Storyboard Rush turns the director's storyboard table into an interactive stage where sequencing is the game and every correct cut feels like calling action on a finished scene.
