HOW IT PLAYS
King is played over a series of rounds, and each round changes what you are trying to avoid — or chase. Take the wrong trick and you lose points; call the right trump and you gain them.

• No Men — avoid taking jacks and kings
• No Last Two — avoid the final two tricks
• No King — avoid the King of Hearts, the costliest card on the table
