Turistappen

Your personal guide to Sweden's gems 🇸🇪
The tourist app is created for those who want to discover the real Sweden - simple and genuine. We help you find the places you would otherwise have missed, whether it's a cozy farm café, a local strawberry picking or artisanal caramel making.

How does it work?
Start the alert and put your phone away. The app is smart - it only beeps if the place is actually open and in season. When a place appears, click on the notification to immediately get directions on the map.

Since the companies themselves update their information, you can trust that it is up-to-date. You never have to worry about turning off unnecessarily to a hostel or a farm shop that has closed for the season.

Customize for your trip:
📍 Set your radius: Use the slider to choose how close to a place you want to be before it beeps (from 100 meters up to 5 kilometers).
🍦 Choose your interests: You decide which categories you want to see. Do you just want tips on cafes and attractions? No problem!
🗺️ Find on the map: You can always see all the gems nearby directly on the map and quickly center the view on your position.

Why is the Turistappen free?
We want everyone to be able to discover Sweden. The app is made possible by the fantastic local businesses that choose to be featured with us for a low annual fee.

Here's why you should use the Turistappen:

Experience more: Find farm sales, cafes and museums that are not always visible on the big signs.

Smooth navigation: One click gives you the way directly to your destination.

Safer travel: Focus on the road - we keep track and tell you when there is something worth seeing nearby.

Always on time: Businesses control their own hours, so you know what's going on.
