Stream Transport Player

STPlayer - Stream Transport Player

STPlayer is an audiobook player for Android built for online streaming and offline listening. Play your own audiobook files, browse supported public web catalogs, and enjoy a smooth listening experience with background playback, chapter navigation, downloads, and full resume support.

STPlayer is free and does not include, host, publish, sell, or distribute any audiobooks or other audio content. The app includes no built-in audiobook library. It only plays content from your own local files and from publicly accessible online sources supported by the app.

No registration, login, or account is required to use STPlayer.

STPlayer is designed for long-form listening and everyday audiobook use. Whether you listen during your commute, before sleep, on long walks, or for hours at a time, it helps keep your listening simple and uninterrupted.

Key features:
- Resume exactly where you left off
- Easy chapter navigation
- Playback speed control
- Sleep timer
- Bookmarks and favorites
- Listening history
- Downloads for offline playback
- Reliable background playback

STPlayer combines local audiobook playback with support for public online catalogs and streaming sources, so you can keep your listening in one place. Browse supported sources by title, author, narrator, or genre, then start streaming or download supported books and chapters for offline use.

The catalog system is dynamic, which allows supported sources to be updated over time while keeping STPlayer focused on playback rather than content distribution.

Supported formats include: MP3, M4A, M4B, MP4 audio, AAC, WAV, FLAC, Opus, HLS / M3U8, Direct Web Audio and other supported network streaming protocols.

STPlayer also works smoothly with Android system features for a better listening experience:
- Lock screen controls
- Media notifications
- Bluetooth headphones and speakers
- Wired controls
- Android Auto

A good audiobook player should stay out of the way of the story. STPlayer is designed to feel clean, modern, and easy to use every day, with features built around real audiobook listening habits.

STPlayer does not provide its own audiobook catalog or bundled media. It is an audiobook player for your own files and for publicly accessible online sources.
