SpotShot — TAK Field Camera

SpotShot is a purpose-built field camera for teams that run on TAK (Team Awareness Kit). Every photo you take becomes a geotagged Cursor-on-Target (CoT) marker on your team's ATAK, iTAK, or WinTAK map — in real time.

Point, capture, and the spot appears on the map with precise coordinates, a timestamp, and the photo attached. No exporting, no manual coordinate entry, no fuss.

**BUILT FOR THE FIELD**
• One-button operator mode — strips the screen to torch, zoom, and capture. Volume key fires the shot.
• Works offline — captures taken with no signal are queued and sent automatically the moment you reconnect.
• GPS accuracy gate — warns you when your fix isn't tight enough, and stamps accuracy into every photo.
• Pinch-to-zoom with full multi-lens support (ultrawide, main, telephoto).
• Night mode on supported devices.

**TAK INTEGRATION DONE RIGHT**
• Username/password enrollment against your TAK Server — the mTLS certificate is provisioned automatically. No manual cert wrangling.
• Colored spot markers or MIL-STD symbology — your choice per capture.
• Position reporting (PLI) shares your location with your team as a friendly track.
• Data Sync — contribute your spots and photos into a shared TAK mission that your whole team sees in one organized feed.
• Coordinates in Lat/Lon or MGRS.

**SMART CAPTURE**
• On-device photo redaction — automatically black out faces and text before a photo leaves your device.
• Optional AI scene description (bring your own Anthropic API key) auto-writes the marker's remarks.
• Scene packages bundle a whole operation's shots into one organized transfer.

**YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS**
SpotShot has no backend. Your photos and location go only to the TAK server you configure — never to us. No ads, no third-party tracking, no accounts. A built-in Secure Wipe erases everything on demand.

SpotShot requires access to a TAK Server. TAK, ATAK, and WinTAK are components of the Team Awareness Kit ecosystem.
