Few other ground covers are as easy and adaptable as Veronica Tidal Pool. Tidal Pool is a fast spreading evergreen groundcover that grows up to 30" wide in a single season! At only 3 inches tall, it is a real beauty!
In early to mid May, hundreds of brilliant blue blooms, each starred with a white center, are a standout against the silver highlighted bright green foliage. Plants have a light repeat bloom from late June into late September.

Tidal Pool is very tolerant of adversity from rain and cold to heat, humidity and drought. This carefree, drought tolerant ground cover needs only sunshine and good soil drainage.
Tidal Pool Veronica is lovely in drifts or as a ground cover or edging plant. It has demonstrated good salt tolerance, so it is ideal for lining driveways and walkways. Tidal Pool would make a good bluegrass lawn substitute in dryland states. Tidal Pool tolerates light foot traffic and a range of soil ph from 6.6-8.5.
Plant in full sun to part shade. Space anywhere between 18-24" depending on how quick you desire coverage.
Lovely around the base of Knock Out roses, shrubs, or other sun perennials.

Veronica General Information
Veronica provide some of the clearest true blues available in perennials, along with rich purples, pinks, and whites. Neat tidy plants have glossy foliage and will fill in without overpowering. Long-lasting color.
Veronica Plant Care
Prefers evenly moist soil with good winter drainage. Can be divided every 3 years in spring or fall. To keep tidy plants, shear back by 1/2 after flowering. If not cut back in summer, prune down to basal growth in late autumn.
