About Sports Hopping
Sports Hopping is a map of the world's sports grounds, built for the people who travel to stand in them.
Open it anywhere and you see what is around you: football, ice hockey, handball, basketball, rugby and more. Tap a pin and you get the ground — who plays there, what is coming up with each club's crest beside it, what the last results were, when it opened and how many it holds.
THE MAP COMES FIRST
Every venue is a pin. Filter by sport with the chips at the top, and by date with the "When?" filter — this week, this month, or any range you pick. The map and the fixture list always agree with each other.
WHAT'S ON
See fixtures near you, or search any place in the world and see what is on there instead. Useful the week before a trip, and useful on a wet Tuesday when you want somewhere to be.
TICK OFF THE GROUNDS
Mark a match as attended and it counts. Went to a ground with no game on — a tour, a training session, a look through the gates? Tap "I've been here" on the venue and that counts too. The app tracks your grounds, countries and clubs, and hands out badges as the numbers climb — first ground, five countries, twenty-five clubs. Wishlist the ones you are still planning.
ADD THE GAMES NOBODY LISTS
Friendlies, cup ties, youth and non-league games rarely appear in any fixture feed. Add them yourself at the ground: pick the teams, add the score, and it joins your record like any other match.
HELP FIX THE MAP
Some pins are better than others. If a venue sits in the wrong place you can confirm or correct it, and you can add a photo of a ground that has none. Real people review what comes in.
NO NOISE
No ads. No tracking. No feed to scroll. The app is free, and there is nothing to buy inside it.
Location is optional. Granting it centres the map on you and fills in "near me"; without it you can still search and browse the whole world. It is only used while the app is open.
